We prefer to receive payments via PayPal. A PayPal Money Request will be sent to the winning bidder immediately upon conclusion of the auction. You may use a credit card to pay the PayPal Money Request. We also accept cashiers checks.
3. What kind of deed do you provide?
Unless otherwise stated, we will prepare a Warranty Deed using buyer provided name and address information. All documentation will be mailed within one week of our receipt of payment.
4. Who owns the properties being sold at auction?
The land is owned by the person who operates this website.
5. Do many people purchase land in this manner?
There are many people who purchase land in this way. There are about 2000 lots listed for sale on eBay today. The other online venues have several hundred more.
6. Are there any escrow fees or any other fees involved in the transaction?
There are no fees other than the $200 documentation fee that we charge on all of our auctions. This fee is necessary to cover our selling costs. The buyer does not need to record the deed him or herself as we handle all of the paperwork and will record the deed with the applicable county on the buyer's behalf. For auctions conducted on Bid4assets, there is a 10% Buyer's Premium to be paid by the winning bidder in addition to the documentation fee.
7. Does the current bid price mean the starting bid price for the advertised land?
The auctions often start very low - usually $100 or some other nominal amount. The current bid price is the current winning bid for the auction. If it is above reserve price that is the amount the land will sell for if other bidders do not place larger bids.
8. Is bid for purchase or for down payment?
All of our auctions are for the full purchase price of the land.
9. How can I view a piece of land before bidding?
Contact the county the lot is located in and use online maps to obtain exact locations if in doubt.
